The Youth Ministry in the Kingstown/Chateaubelair Circuit is dedicated to enabling and encouraging young people to know God at an early age and to be steadfast in their walk with God. We strongly believe youth is the best age to be rooted in Christ, and so we aim to provide them with the best leadership needed to advise and enable them in their early steps with Christ.
In each congregation, every third (3rd) Sunday is Youth Sunday, where the youth and young adults are encouraged to conduct the service; read the scripture lessons, sing in the Youth Choir, and share their various talents in worship. On various occasions during the year they are also encouraged and facilitated in preaching the message during morning worship.
The various youth ministries are also encouraged to do fun activities throughout the year such as participating in Youth Socials, youth month activities and much more.
The Youth Ministry targets all youths through the following Ministries:
Youth Fellowship – Through this ministry young people gather regularly, often weekly to engage in a variety of exciting and meaningful activities to strengthen their relationship with God, interaction with one another, service in the Church and ministry to the wider community.
The Circuit Youth Commission is the main organization in the circuit responsible for overseeing the youth ministry throughout the year. The Commission are coordinators of the annual Youth Month which is celebrated in February. Youth Month allows all youths in the Circuit to come together to showcase their talents in a wide range of friendly competitions including Dance, Choir, Drama, Public Speaking, and Quiz. Youth Socials are also organized by the Commission to allow the youths from across to Circuit to meet, mingle, and form friendships with other Christian youths.
The Youth Commission also hosts Circuit Youth Camps and retreats every year. For more information, see our page dedicated to our Youth Ministry.
